National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test : NEET is also known as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET is an entrance test which is held for those candidates who want’s admission in to Medical Courses of MBBS, Dental Courses (BDS), or Postgraduate Course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET held on the place of All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT).
Fresh Update as on 02.02.2017 :- Dear Applicants Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE 2017) is organizing National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET UG 2017) for the session 2017-2018. It will be conducted into 10 regional languages from this year onwards. Registration process has started from 31.01.2017. Participants can apply online till 01.03.2017. The National Board of Examination (NBE) established in 1975 by Govt. of India for improving the quality of the Medical Education. Vide improvement in the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government, it has been prescribed that their will be a single eligibility cum entrance examination called ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test only, held for admission to Under Graduate & Postgraduate Medical Courses’ in each academic year
NEET for Under Graduate :
is year, All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) going to held AIPMT 2016, but after Supreme court orders, this test will be conducted by NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). The candidates who can not appear in this test, held on 01.05.2016, a good chance for them, then can attend this test on 24.07.2016 called NEET 2016. Earlier, Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE organized first Undergraduate NEET Examination on 05th May 2013.
NEET for Post Graduate :
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is also conducted for Post Graduate courses. NEET Post Graduate entrance examination is for admission to Post Graduate Medical Courses. Earlier it was held on 06th December & 23rd December 2012.

NEET – UG Exam Pattern : The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination consists of 1 paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. There Shall be 45 Questions each from the Subjects Physics, Chemistry, and 90 Questions from Biology (Botany and Zoology).

The final decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct an All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in the academic session 2014-15 for the 15% seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges at all over India, except in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir and also for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges voluntarily Participating in the test on Sunday, the 04th May, 2014 in selected cities across the Country and Abroad.
